Feasability

Yerwada Is a mixed use development with retail on the ground floor and offices above. The Combination of Metal and Glass in hexagonal Structure forms the Unique Skin of the Building. Offices have double height garden space making it an energetic work environment. The garden prevents the direct heating of the building. The pavilion in front of the F&B creates a relaxing place for a coffee break with collegues.

The Niche, a proposed commercial project is in a prime area of Pune. It has been designed with a luxurious yet minimalistic approach. Settle coloured stone, granite, and glass with double height spaces, gives grandeur to the overall project. To break the monotony, double height niches of green spaces have been carved which creates a visual barrier between the busy city life and the workspace.

A commercial building in the IT hub of Pune, this unique structure is inspired by Origami - a traditional Japanese art form. The building structure integrates a passive solar design to reduce the need for artificial cooling and lighting. The internal temperature remains more relaxed than the external climate of the building at all times of the day. Wider openings in the North-East direction boost the in-flow of diffused natural light whilst the narrower South-East openings prevent the harsher light of the day from seeping in making this commercial structure user-friendly. A play of ‘shadow and light’ the structure enjoys ample natural ventilation and is energy efficient.
